Georgian Bay Island National Park
Take a quick 15-minute scenic boat ride on Chimney Bay over to Beausoleil Island located in Georgian Bay Islands National Park! DayTripper is a shuttle service in Honey Harbour that travels to the north or south end of Beausoleil Island where there are many hiking trails to traverse with your family! Depending on the adventure you’re looking for, you can choose from two different areas for your day out hiking in Ontario. The north end, Chimney Bay, will provide a more natural rugged hiking area with picturesque views of the Georgian Bay, the south end, Cedar Spring, is a more family-friendly area offering areas for swimming, picnicking and easier trails to explore. Out of all the trails in the Georgian Bay National Park, Fairy Trail is the show stealer with its unique geographic features so don’t forget to bring your camera along! Tay Shore Trail is just a hop, skip and a jump away from our Ontario inn, and is a beautifully paved 10.5-mile nature trail. Throughout your journey, you’ll find scenic spots overlooking the Georgian Bay, rivers, wetlands, and ponds as well. Surround yourself with the breathtaking flora and fauna in a quaint secluded atmosphere. This venture is significant for those who don’t want to travel far to take in the magical views of Ontario, Canada.
